Welcome To Sage

This tutorial is being provided to help you navigate your SAGE courses. We have made every attempt to make sure the technology is merely "a way to get the information to you" - and we never want it to "get in the way." Therefore, we have designed this program to be as simple to use as possible. But, even then, there are times when computers don't cooperate or instructions are confusing. Please always feel free to contact Linda Mauger, Program Manager, at 614-293-8031 or via mauger.10@osu.edu with any questions you might have.

The tutorial has been broken down into different sections to help you find your way easier. Just click on the link from the menu on the left that cooresponds with what you are trying to do. In the beginning it might help to read through all of them to have a general idea of how things work, but they are always here for reference later.

Logging In

When you register you are given a username and password.  You should always keep your password secret and secure.  Entering them in the gray bar just below the Sage banner will log you into the site.  If you have forgotten or lost your password click on "reset password" next to the login button to have a new one sent to you via e-mail. NOTE: Certain spam blockers keep these kinds of e-mails from reaching you.  If you don't receive the new password within a few minutes, contact the program staff at 614-293-4815 for assistance.

Once you log in there are a number of other options that appear on the menu where you initially typed your login.

Go To Class: Start here by logging in.  This page is where you will find any news or messages about class.  It also contains a calender.

Lessons: There is a new lesson for each week of the class.   Each lesson also contains a discussion topic.  Make sure you check for assignments each week as well.

Assignments: Assignments and due dates.  This section is intended to help you understand the assignments and their due dates and is also the section where you submit assignments.  This should be one of the main sections you refer to throughout the course.
